Meet Rick Fahrner
Rick is passionate about developing therapeutics to make meaningful differences in patients’ lives: drugs that are convenient, well-tolerated, and cost-effective. Ricks’ experience spans more than 22 years, where he has provided leadership to pharmaceutical development, preclinical development, and research teams. His diverse product development and regulatory background include responsibilities for several proteins, oligonucleotide, and small molecule development programs from research phase programs through post-approval commitments. He has ideated and developed complicated therapeutics which utilize delivery technologies as well as drug-device combination products. Rick has a track record of applying novel solutions to solve complex challenges. He has worked in companies ranging from early start-ups to large pharma. Rick received his Ph.D. in biochemistry and molecular biology from UCLA and his BS in biochemistry from CSU Fullerton.
